"Oldie for Friday"

Hello Blog friends, how are you all to today???   Gosh it`s the weekend again, hope you have some nice things planned.
Nothing much here apart from the boys popping along.  We see more of Thomas these days.   Robert is always away playing Football, Thomas goes to watch sometimes but he prefers coming here.  He says its all fine on a nice day but if its cold, raining or windy he is better here with us ... sensible lad.  Thomas plays Football Tuesday & Thursday evenings but Robert seems to Play or be Training almost every night of the week.  I really don`t know how John & Audrey manage to fit it all in.  I suppose looking back I did a fair bit of running their father here there and everywhere but I only had one to fit things round.
Anyway its ages since I joined Erika over at:- to share an Oldie for Friday.  Its a chance to show off some of your older projects.  It does not have to be Cards, anything you have created is what we want to see.
Here is mine for today:-

I am not a Stamper but every now and again I decide I have to have a go.
The background is done using Distress Inks.
Stamp is a Clarity Stamp
Don`t know about the Happy Birthday one.
Just a little bit ribbon to finish off

That`s it for today, have a fantastic weekend
Thank you for your visit I love that you take time to call by
Till next time

A Simple Pillow Box

Hello Blog friends, thank you so much for your comments on my last Post.  I have been missing for so long it was nice to know I have not been completely forgotten, Thank You.
I hope you have all managed to survive Storm Henry.  Man! Oh! Man! we have certainly been getting terrible weather this year.
Just a quick port for today.  I have a Pillow Box to show you.  A friend of mine asked if I had seen the Sizzex Show on Hochanda.  I don`t watch these Craft Shows.  Every time I have clicked on to see what they are selling or promoting it always seems to be the same things.
Anyway my dear friend told me they were showing a wonderful  Die to make a Pillow Box which was much bigger than the XCut one which I use a lot.  She felt it would be a good size for me to pop my Pendants in.  I Trawled and found the Die at Country View Crafts for the amazing price of £18.20 P&P Free.
You need one whole sheet of A4 Card to make the Box but Wow! its well worth it.
Here is the first one I made:-

Finished Size is 6 x 4 Inches.
I used  Anna Marie`s Dotty Card plus a bit of Lilac from my Bit Box
A Gem from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I got lots of these in their sale, I don`t know if the will still have them but its worth going having a look.
That`s it from me for today
Thank You so much for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time

Coooo!! Eeeee!! Its only me!!!

Hello everyone, WOW!!  it is a long time since I was here.  Sorry about that, just life in general.  I suffer from S.A.D. I have all the gizmo's and what have you.  However the severe lack of any sunshine this year has not helped.  I have had very few chances to get for a walk.  Anyway enough about me.
How are you all fairing???
I have been keeping up to date with all your Blogs,  Making the occasional comment and admiring all  your wonderful work.
I have been doing some creating, not a lot but some
Nothing much going on here at "The Ranch" apart from watching a "lake" appear in the field over the small field fence.  It has gone down a good bit this week but here`s what it looks like:-

That`s looking out my Kitchen window!!

We have been very lucky, I feel so sorry for all those poor people who are out of their homes and don`t have a clue when they will get back in.  It was all "news" when the water was waist high in their houses, do we hear about them now ... nope!!!

Anyway on to a nicer subject, my friend and neighbour Isobel became a granny for the 4th time on New Years Day.  Her Son and DIL had a little boy ... 8weeks early.  He fought the fight and is now at home doing very well.
Here are the cards I made:-

Both standard makes for me.  I usually stick to very similar most times.
