Still Sad, in a different way!!!

Hello Blog friends, followers and passers by.  Hope you are all well and enjoying some sunshine.  The sun is shining here at the moment but dark clouds are hovering!!!  Maybe just maybe they will disappear, we can always live in hope.
I am taking a real back seat from Blogging as from today.  A lot of you will know I have a great "fear" of who is looking in on these Blogs......not just mine!!!   I never say we are away from the house for any length of time.  Living very rural, the house is vulnerable even though we have alarms and other safety measures in place.
I have just found out that someone looking in on "my Blog", has caused a bit of trouble and upset with a very dear and loved friend.  I will NOT let anyone use "my Blog" as a way of "hurting others".  There is too much hurt out there without someone adding to it.  Saturday`s events has put everything into perspective for me.
The best way for me is not Post anything for a while.   This person has not won!!! by any means.  It is actually making things very much stronger in other directions.

So getting away from all that, I have something to show you:-

This is how many of my flowers start off.  Die cut, spritzed and squashed

Then this happens:-
They are then used to do this:-
I have decorated the top of a box with some of the ones above
Box was decorated with BoBunny Paper from a Crafters Companion Cd
Leaves were colured using a great tip John Next Door gave on a demo on C&C
He used all the shades of green he had plus, yellow, orange and brown blended then altogether.
John used that to Die cut leaves, its brilliant I love it.

Right that`s it from me for now
I will still be looking in and commenting on as many of your Blogs as possible.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments and the support you have given me in the past 4 years.  Hope to see you later in the year.
Love and Hugs to all

A Bit Sad Today

Happy Sunday everyone, hope the weather is good for you today.  Here today we have, bright, cloudy with occasional glimpses of sunshine only very occasion though!!!
Well folks!! yesterday did not work out as Hazel and had planned.  Hazel and I live approx 50 miles apart.  Our neatest equal meeting up point for trips away is Perth.  I leave my car, we travel onwards using Hazel`s .... Hazel does not do being a passenger.  Yesterday the weather was shocking to say the least, we decided to start out early for our meet up with our Blog friend Maureen who was coming up from Newcastle.  Roads were flooded, the fog was thick, the rain was lashing down so hard the wipers were on double speed.  We got to the Park & Ride outside Edinburgh (parking in the city is a BIG no!no!)  We were on the bus when Hazel`s phone "dinged" a message from Maureen.  She would not make it.  Her brother had a Heart Attack and was being worked on by the Paramedics.  10 mins later the sad news came though, he had died.   Talk about sad and deflated, we just sat and looked at each other.   Thank goodness Maureen was at home, and not on the train by herself when the news came though.  We went had a cup of tea to get our heads round the news then headed for home.  What started out full of excitement ended on a very sad note.
So please let things like this be a lesson to us all.  Its the ones we love and treasure that are the most import things in life.   The stupid petty things that cause so much hurt and bad feeling are so insignificant.  People should think more before hurting others.  The world today is in such a state we need to treasure every day we are given.  Sending (((((hugs))))) to everyone who visits.
I have a Retirement card to share with you:-
