Very quick Cards

Hello Blog friends, followers and anyone who has just happened by.  Welcome to my Blog where I show some of the work I do.  Thank you to all who leave me comments I love to read them.  If you have an active Blog I do try to get back to see what you have been doing.  If you don`t I am sorry I can`t return the favour.  I love that you still take the time to visit and comment even when I can`t get back to you.
Yesterday we had another stunning day.  House cleaned, washing all done, dried, ironed and put away.
Thought I was going to get time for "me" when the phone rang.  My old lady (91 this year) along the village phoned needing some cards.  When do you need them for???  I would like them to go in the 4.30pm post the afternoon if that`s OK..... Eeeeekk!!!  It was just after 2pm.  Got all the information and was told they had to be flat.
Here is what I came up with:-
Mixture of Justrite & StampingUp Stamps

StampingUp Stamps set with a bit of Spritzing & Inking
Just papers on this one
Not a good photo of the last one, the sun was really bright.
Nothing exciting, Mrs McGowan was delighted thank goodness
Because I had not spent any time doing them I did not want to charge her anything.  We came to an agreement of £3 and a 5kilo bag of Rooster Potatoes.  The potatoes would have been fine but she insisted on some money.

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate that you take the time to call in
Till next time

"Oldie for Friday"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by.  Welcome to my Blog, hope you like what you see and call again soon.
Beautiful morning here after a horrible rainy day yesterday.  Off to get the washing hung out and the house cleaned.
Can hardly believe that this time (7.15am) last Friday Hazel and I were taxing down the runway of Edinburgh Airport on our way to Belfast.  Who stole last week................????
Oldie for Friday was started by Erika over at:-
It is just for fun ...  any crafting you have done in the past is what is wanted.
Here is mine for today:-

A little posy of flowers I made rather than decorate a Horseshoe.  The boys presented this at a wedding we attended back in May 2011.
The instructions came from a Craft Magazine .... I wish I had kept the Magazine, I don`t have a clue how to make those flowers.

Thought I would throw these into the mix...... not old, taken on Wednesday when I was out for a walk.
The road back home ...
What surrounded me on my walk
The one below is looking back to the village from the Main Road.  It is there hidden in the valley.
Our Village is just a few houses.  No shop no nothing !!!!  The tiny village school closed years ago along with the church
OK ..... enough!!!

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Card Class Cards"

Hello Blog friends, followers and all who pop in to see what I have been getting up to.  Welcome to my little corner of Blogland, so glad to have you here.
We have had some stunning weather (ok it turned to bucketing showers yesterday)  Today when I opened the curtains it looked like we had a dusting of snow but it just an extremely thick frost.
I did my Card Class yesterday, the rebels were delighted with the cards I had for them to do.  Yehhh!!! I really seem to have cracked it, took a long time but we got there.
Gave them their "kits" and showed them how to make the Felt Flowers.    Once that was done they got on and made some great cards.
Here are my "samples":-

Felt flowers were made from instructions given by Sue Wilson when she did  a show on C&C
Flower on the last card was made from a small circle of felt.  Instructions also given by Sue at some point.
Papers are a mixture printed from CDs and from £3 Paper Pads from The Works.  If you have one of these shops near you do pop in.   They have a wonderful selection of  Paper Pads, beautiful quality and so reasonably priced.  They also have a nice selection of Crafty Things.......!!!
Punched Butterflies & Stamped sentiments
Little bit of Glitter here and there

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate that you take time to do that.
Now that the sun is shining I am finding less time to sit at the computer and I am sure you guys are the same.  All your visits are now doubly precious to me.
Till next time

"Thank You Card"

Hello Blog friends, followers and any passers by who are looking in.  Welcome to my little corner of Blogland, great to have you here.
Sorry I have been missing for a few days ....... off enjoying myself with my sister.
We flew over to Belfast on Friday and had a great weekend.   So much so that we ran out of time for the Titanic Experience, the Tour takes 21/2 + hours.  We had planned to do it Sunday afternoon .... that was before we got an invitation to Sunday Lunch.  By the time that was over the place was closed and that was that.   Decided we will for fly over for an other weekend when we can fit it in.
My card today is for my friend Oriel and her hubby John who we spent the whole day with on Saturday plus Sunday Lunch with them and some of her family.

Base card 6x6 PMD Hammered card
Stamping up card ... pink
Linen card
Justrite Romantic Roses Stamp Set.  This is a "2 stamp system" similar to the StampingUp set I fell in love with a couple of months ago.  You stamp the base stamp then stamp a contrasting one on top to give a great effect.  This was the first time I used the set so it shows how easy it is to use.
Stamped Thank You

Off out for a walk .... to walk of some of the mountain of food I ate over the weekend.   When I get back I will get the Ironing done.  Big washing out and almost dry anther job will be done and dusted.
That`s it for today folks
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time
