"Oldie on a Friday"

Hello Blog friends and all who pop into my wee corner of Blogland.
You are all very welcome, I love having you here.  If you have time please leave a comment.  That way if you have a Blog I can look in to see what you get up to.  A big welcome to Janie Printz for becoming my latest follower, thank you for choosing to do that.  I hope to see you here again soon.
The title today is not about me.....................!!!  Erika at put up a post with that title which I thought was a great idea.  Most of us I am sure have cards, stamps, bits & bobs that have not seen the light of day for years.  We hang onto them "just in case" case of what???  How about on a Friday we show what we have or what we have done with some of our "old" stuff.
Here is my "Oldie for Friday":-

Base card approx 7 x 9
An old Anna Griffen 12x12 paper, brown card stock
A Sugar Nellie Digital image I downloaded years ago along with quite a few others.  I coloured the image with Copics
Flowers from WOC I have had some of these for years.   Brown ribbon from my stash

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Hope you all enjoy this wonderful weather over the weekend........don`t forget the suncream!!!
Till next time

"Frayed round the edges"

Hello Blog friends, followers and passers by.  Hope you all have had a good day.
Thank you for taking time to call by to see what I have been up to.  Not a lot of crafting, we have had visitors from Yorkshire here this week.  They set off for home earlier.
I had an hour with my feet up......well!! in between jumping up and down to see to the painters who have been doing the outside of the house.  Actually they have been excellent and the house is looking good again.
So with visitors and painters I feel a little frayed round the edges this evening.  Elaine usually comes Thursday evening.  However she has phoned to ask if she can come tomorrow evening rather than tonight..........Yey!!!  I can even get to bed early if I want.
My card is also a little frayed round the edges.  Not my usual, but hey! ho! we do need a change now and again.

Base card approx 6x6 cut from A3 Papermill direct card stock
Papers used are from a Tattered Lace Magazine
I stamped and embossed butterflies   ...  why Oh! why I used green embossing power I have no idea.  Did it so just went with it
MB Die for the Floral Circles (2)cut ...  one on top of the other to give depth
SB Rose Creation Die for the flower and leaves.
A few very small stamens, glitter and some pearls from my stash

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Single Rose"

Hello Blog friends, followers and all who have clicked on my link to see what I have been up too.
Thank you for popping in, I love to have you here.  Thank you for all the lovely comments you leave.
I have apologise to all my new followers who appeared while I was on holiday.   I forgot to mention you in my last post, please forgive me.
Not a lot going on here, the weather is a bit off.  Great excuse for an extra bit of crafting I think.  Oh! well change that.   John Jnr just phoned to say they will be along.  Audrey is working, so it is lunch here at the Ranch today.
Hazel (hazelsbasketsofjoy) gave me and idea for a project this morning.  I was chatting with her about the beautiful Gift Bag she had posted.  Hazel mentioned her Die might look good made with the Faux Leather.  That started the wheels going, I will make a couple of A4 sheets to match and try making one of "my" style bags with it. Watch this space.........!!!
Here is my card for today:-
Made and not one new piece of card was used in the process.

Base card approx 4 x 6 an off cut from a previous project
Letterpress effect, an A4 piece I did, it was not as good as it should have been.  I rescued the best part.
Scrap of white card, scored a few times then punched along the bottom with a MS Punch
Rose, SB Blossom Five, leaves an old Creallies Die from Joanna Sheen.  Fern type leaves and butterflies MS Punches all cut from scraps of yellow/cream card

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Hope to see you again soon
