"Stamp & Ink"

Hello there Blog friends, I have not fallen off the planet or taken to the hills..........!!!
Welcome to every one who pops in, all my regulars or just the casual passer by.  I love to have you here, if you have a moment to spare please leave a comment so that I know you visited..  If you have an active Blog I can then click on and have a look at what you do.
Time has run away from me this week at a rather rapid rate.  I know most of you are the same, where is the year going???  I did go to Perth this morning and had a good "face to face" chat with Hazel.  With the schools being off she has had the girls at home so I have not seen her for 2 weeks.  We chat on the phone every day but it is not the same. We set world to rights, spoke about our up coming holiday end of next month, all exciting stuff.
I did the "Card in a Box" with my Craft Class this week even the "rebels" did it and seemed to enjoy it.......a break though at last.
I have been making a few cards with my Sue Wilson Dies but they are all for occasions to come so will keep them till they have passed then show you some of them.
I decided to have a wee go at using Inks, Stamps and Stencils.   I am very new to this kind of thing so I am taking "baby steps"  Here is a card I made:-

Base card 6x6 white card
I used a piece of Sequin waste I found in a box and inked through it with TH Distress Inks
Stamp is a Clarity Stamp I have had for more years than I care to mention.  It still had the blue ink on it....never been used.  I added a little bit of glitter here and there on the flower
Mounted it, wrote Just for you then squiggled round ... done!!!   I am quite pleased and will have a go at something more adventurous soon.........I think!!!

That`s it for today
Thank you for your visit I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Using a Striplet Die"

HAPPY EASTER everyone, hope you have all had a wonderful time.  Weather here has been good if a little chilly, we have seen the sun that`s the main thing!!!
Thank you  for popping by, whether you are a regular visitor or just looking in to see what I get up to. If you have liked the things I do and hope to see you again soon
I would like to welcome my latest follower:- Debbie Arriff better known as Debs, thank you for deciding to join me on my Blogging journey delighted to have you on board.
We had a very busy week last week, today has not been much better.  Being busy today was of my own making.  Up very early, went non-stop till 2pm.  Oh! I did stop for lunch and a quick chat with Hazel.  Ranch House sparkling, washing up to date, all ironed and put away apart from a few bits still on the "whirrly" mostly towels that the edges were not quite dry.
My card today is one I made when I eventually opened the packet my Sue Wilson Striplet Die was in.  I had it ages and never managed to get round to opening it.  I have another couple that are still in their packet I might get round to them this week we will see.
Anyway here is the card I did get made:-

Base card approx 8 x 8 cut from A3 Papermill Card Stock
Simple Matting & Layering of Purple and White Papermill Card
I cut the Striplet Die 3 times for the main piece
SB Classic Circle and SB Butterfly
Some punched flowers, Die cut Swirls and a few Pearls
No Greeting as yet, will pop it in the box for future use

That`s it for today
Thank you for calling in I really appreciate it
Till next time
