"Shabby & from the Bit Box"

Hello and welcome to my little corner of Blogland.
Thank you for taking time to come visit I love that you do that.  I hope you like what you see.  If you leave a comment I will know you have called by.  If you have a Blog I then return the favour and come visit you.
I am way behind with my posts this week.  Too many people needing some of my time and not enough of that to go round.   I thought once you stopped going out to work things got easier....................mmm!!   Not in my case, my goodness this week I have not had time to change my mind.  Having a bit more time today. my car is in the garage for a service and its first MOT.   Being out in the sticks I need a car so if it needs things done they just have to be done. Keeping my fingers crossed that there will not be anything to expensive.
My card today is one made with Bits I took out of the "Bit Box" and my "Die Cut Box"before I tipped the rest of the contents into the bag for the school.   There are only so many bits you can keep.

Base card approx 4 x 6 white card. This was a 4 inch strip left from a 12 x 12 sheet
Burgundy card slightly distressed
A piece of text paper I think that might have been from a NitWit collection also slightly distressed
Patterened paper that was a bit torn
Scrap of music paper  ....  I always worry about using these papers.  I am not musical so do not have a clue what the music is.  Imagine using some really Funky music paper for a "sympathy" card!!!!
A Die cut oval it is a SB Die but which one??
Flowers made using a Cheery Lynn Die, leaves a Crealies Die  (I had made these flowers and never used them)  That`s them used up now....................!!
Some Bakers Twine
Couple of little buttons, scrap of lace and a few pearls
White card for the Stamping Up stamp "with love"

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for calling by I really appreciate that you do that
Till next time

"True Friendship"

Hello and welcome to my Blog space.
Not so nice here today, dull, misty and threatening to rain.  Such a change from yesterday.
Thank you for taking time to come visit.   If you have time please leave a little comment so I know you called.
Another busy day here at "the ranch".
The school the boys go to have a Charity Shop running this week to raise funds.    In Coupar Angus there is an empty Shop Unit that the owner hires out weekly.  Groups hire it as a Charity Shop.  This week it is the School, I popped along this morning with some things and was roped in to helping out this afternoon.   My! Goodness! it was so busy.  What amazes me is that there is a group in the shop almost every week, they all make a fair bit money and it is all from other peoples "junk" Brings to mind the old saying "where there`s muck there`s brass"
The last time the school had the shop they raised £2,600 in a week.  We will see what this week brings.  I am in again on Friday afternoon, I volunteered for that months ago.
Grandpa has to pick the boys up from school Friday afternoon.  Mummy and Daddy are off to a wedding in Glasgow, they will stay there overnight.  I will have to get to Tesco in the morning to stock up!!!! the boys will be staying overnight with us.
Today's card is for our friend Anne who goes into hospital on Thursday to have her operation for Breast Cancer.   The ladies Hazel and I meet on a Wednesday will all sign it and give it to Anne tomorrow.  I have also made a nice box for it to go in.
Should have got Hazel to make the box  ....   have you seen how she has progressed at making all these different boxes.   To think that just a few weeks ago she would have been asking me to make them.  Hazel has done so well, she has always been crafty and done beautiful parceling.   She still does that, now he is making boxes and also really enjoys having her Blog.

White base card approx 6 x 8
Pink card stock
White card embossed with Sue Wilson`s Cascading Hearts Embossing Folder
SB Radiant Rectangles Die Cut
Computer generated Greeting die cut with another Die from the Radiant Rectangles set
I thought the greeting was very apt.
Roses SB Blossom Five,  leaves SB Foliage Die

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for calling by today I really appreciate it
Till next time

"Big Sisters"

Hello how are you all at the beginning of yet another new week??
Hope you are all well, if not I send you a ((hug)) to help.
Thank you so much for all the lovely comments on my Posts over the past week.
I think I have recovered, from doing my Card Class, working in the Tearoom Friday then having the boys all day Saturday.  Thank goodness the boys spend so much time with John.  I really only need to feed them.  They needed a fair bit feeding on Saturday   ...   they were stacking logs!!
Rhod across the road does all the cutting of the trees, then we share the wood.  Rhod and Isobel are so good at helping us with things like that.   John has a metal plate and elbow in his right arm.  When he uses the Electric Hedge Trimmer his arm really plays him up.  Just imagine what a Chain Saw would do!!!!   We have the hedge cut for us and Rhod does the cutting of the trees.  The boys have stacked a fair bit of wood but still loads more to do for the winter.
We have had an absolutely beautiful day here today.  Washing all dried, in folded but not ironed as yet.
Last week I had lots of orders for cards, guess what??  ...  Yep! forgot to photograph some of them.  The ones I did remember to photograph have not been handed over so I don`t really want to show them yet.
Here is one I did  for Hazel`s daughter a couple of weeks ago.   I know it has been given to the girls so I can show it.   They have a new baby sister so are now "Big Sisters"

Base card white DL
Long piece of a Funny shade of silver blue card
Blue card
Lili of the Valley pre-coloured image
Some lace flowers from my box
Computer generated personalised greeting
At least I know they will not get another like it

That`s it for today
Thank you so much for taking time to come visit I really appreciate it
Till next time
